Kathy Corbet Interiors specializes in creating home and light commercial interiors that are functional and expressive of each customer’s style. Our clientele is often well versed in interiors furnishings, yet to them the processes necessary to achieve their decorating visions can seem daunting and time consuming. Kathy Corbet Interiors draws upon our expertise and vast network of resources to bring their creative notions to bear. Care is taken to capture and build upon the essence of what already exists in an interior, thus we will gladly share our recommendations in the relaxed environment of our client’s home or office.

Kathy Corbet has more than 20 years of professional experience in design, textiles and manufacturing. In 2001 she launched her design firm, Kathy Corbet Interiors. Kathy is an executive board member of IFDA (International Furnishings and Design Association) in Richmond and Washington DC. She received her BS in Design and Merchandising from the University of Vermont, and AAS in Fashion Design from FIT in New York. Kathy then served 13 years as merchandiser and liaison between sales, production and design in New York’s Garment Center.

Kathy enjoys art history and appreciation, gardening, sailing, and exploring new places with her family. Volunteer and non-profit work includes The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Covenant House on Crisis Hotline, and the Girl Scouts.
