007 Design: rare and unique

There are many compelling reasons to include rare and unique installations in your home.  Here are a few of our installations and why they work so well for our clients’ spaces.

  1. Talon Powder Room

(Etsy, Arteriors, Pierre Frey)

Distinctiveness:

Powder rooms should be a space where you take a chance and step out of your comfort zone.  We selected a “dragon skin” wallpaper and teamed it up with a mirror that has talons gripping it from behind.  A browse on Etsy brought us this claw and talon wall hook that we installed as a towel holder!  This room envelopes you in a fairy tale!

2. Vietri Wall

Sicis Vietri, Small Axe Forge, Stone Forest, Graff, ABusher Originals

Exclusivity and Prestige:

This powder room is for a client who values uniqueness and let us go for something truly extraordinary.  The many craftsman involved in this installation were carefully orchestrated.  The back lit glass wall is Vietri imported from Italy.  The plumbing and electrical had to be installed before the template could even be made—each element in the design was carefully placed to make sure the sink, faucet and console all lined up perfectly.

3. Stone faucet handle

Watermark, Anne Sacks Tile

Enhanced Aesthetics:

This wall mount faucet with a stone handle to operate it is a simple focal point that draws attention and a smile.

4-Fiat Smeg

Fiat, Smeg

Conversation Starters:

Who crashed their car into the room?!  This collaborative product between Smeg and Fiat is certainly a talking point.  It is a great way for your guests to connect and engage when you welcome them in and offer something refreshing to drink.

5. water feature

Jamie Beckwith Designs, Adagio

Investment and Longevity:

Unique installations often possess inherent value due to their rarity or craftsmanship. We enveloped the antique statue with a textured wood wall tile and water feature to enhance its beauty.

6. vintage mirror bathroom

Mirrortique, MTI

Personalization and Customization:

The floor to ceiling mirror was engineered to include both vintage/antique and new mirror strategically placed to make it useful but give old world charm.  The unique pedestal sink shows it off for sure.  This personalization was done as a nod to the clients’ previous home in Brooklyn.

7. leather ceiling

Ecodomo, Sanford Kogan, Ann Sacks

Memorable Experiences:

This foyer welcomes you to a unique home with a fire red crocodile embossed ceiling and mirrored chicken wire tiled walls!  The art-radio boxes are by a local artist, Sanford Kogan.  This entry creates a memorable experience for visitors.

We are highlighting these points to show the value and significance these installations can bring to your space. We have a commitment to offer something beyond the ordinary and we can help you make your home unique. Contact us today.
