Design Consultations

Two weeks before we meet, we will contact you to assess your design goals. With paint samples and catalogs in hand, we will arrive at our meeting to review your space and share ideas. Our goal is to provide suggestions on steps that you can take right away. Within one week of the consultation, we will provide a written summary of suggestions, plus any additional inspiration.

A design consultation is billed at $450 and is limited to two hours.

Design Therapy

This option is ideal for room completion or for clients with smaller projects. All of our skills, services and design talents are utilized to help you.

Blocks of time are billed at $150 per hour in prepaid 20 hour increments to be used within two months of purchase.  We require a 75% deposit for a minimum commitment to $8000 in merchandise purchases.  There is no time limit on merchandise purchases.  If additional design time is needed our standard hourly rates will apply.

Custom Interior Design and Turnkey Installations

Our concierge interior design service includes concept development, space planning and drafting of floor plans. In addition to selecting finishes and fixtures, we provide renderings and drawings of our designs.  We select, source and procure furniture, window treatments, flooring, lighting and accessories. This option includes our project management component that provides coordination from concept to installation.

Hourly charges:  $150 for lead designer and $75 for assistant designer and project coordination.

Virtual Design

At Kathy Corbet Interiors we have embraced technology for many years.  Our space planning, window treatment design and elevations shifted to computer drawings in 2004.  In 2008 we introduced 3-D design technology.  This has enabled us to eliminate many face to face meetings, saving our clients time and money.  Based on our success with out of town clients, we have re-tooled to maintain social distancing while serving our local clients.  We are ready to leverage our talents and skills to help you while sheltering in place. We do recommend an in-person meeting to get started.

  • The client must be comfortable taking some their own measurements and be willing to take responsibility for those measurements.

  • The client must be comfortable with technology: emailing photos, printing documents to fill out and scan to return to us and meeting virtually via Zoom and FaceTime.

  • Prior to ordering any furnishings we will need to make a site visit to confirm measurements and check for any unforeseen obstructions (vents, radiators, etc).

If you are not comfortable with the above we can set up a time to measure for you. This model is used as part of our Design Therapy, Custom Design and Remodel/New Construction services.

Remodel and New Construction 

In addition to the benefits provided in our “Custom Interior Design” menu, we guide you through the selection of materials, fixtures and finishes with all the necessary specifications your builder or contractor needs.  Our services start at the planning level and carry through to the furnishings to give your project a completed design vision from start to finish.

Hourly charges:  $150 for lead designer and $75 for assistant designer and project coordination.  We require an established furniture budget based on the square footage of predetermined rooms.
